Silica Gel

Overview

It is the most common desiccant in the form of translucent granules. Its production process is a granular substance formed by precipitating silicate with acid or ammonium salt and then activating it at high temperature. Since these particles themselves have a porous structure, they have a large adsorption area and can adsorb many substances. Because sillica gel has such characteristics, it is widely used for moisture adsorption.
